Serious boating requires a serious ladder; and the JIF 4-Step Boarding Ladder is one such ladder. It is designed for use on small cruisers; runabouts and sailboats and for people who spend a lot of time on the water.
This ladder is constructed of durable anodized aluminum and can support up to 300 pounds of weight. The poly steps feature molded tread that provides comfort on bare feet and sure footing; especially when wet. Additional ladder stability is provided by the pair of standoffs on the back of the ladder. The standoffs use the person's weight to hold the ladder in place while raising it away from the deck for a stable vertical climb. The standoffs also have vinyl tips to protect the hull from damage and prevent the ladder from sliding around as a person climbs.
The ladder easily mounts to the deck with a pair of keyhole style mounting brackets that accept tabs on the end of the ladder hooks. The mounting brackets are included with the ladder. When not deployed; the hooks and standoffs fold flat for easy stowage.
