When you're out on your party boat and your guests want to go for a swim, provide them an easy means to re-board your boat with the JIF 4-Step Telescoping Pontoon Ladder. This ladder features wide hooks that attaches to the deck using keyhole-style mounting clips. When in the clips, the ladder is securely in place, and it can unclip from the deck and fold flat for compact storage; the hooks and standoffs collapse, and the steps telescope inside one another. When the ladder is folded up, a nylon strap and snap hold the steps in place.
When deployed, the ladder rests on the pontoons with the padded standoffs; the standoffs provide extra stability while the vinyl pads protect the logs from damage. The hooks are also padded with thick vinyl sleeves which also protect the boat from damage while providing firm handholds. The thick plastic steps have a textured surface to provide traction for wet, bare feet. Finally, the core of the ladder's strength and 400 pound weight capacity comes from the one-inch diameter vertical tubes.
