How the Aerator Works

Low oxygen levels and seasonal change can affect the ecosystem of smaller bodies of water. Power House’s Surface Aerator uses its patented design to draw water through the bottom of the unit while the propeller mixes and forces the water above the surface. This air-water contact helps drive oxygen back into the water, raising dissolved oxygen levels, which results in degassing the water of unwanted nutrients. Power House’s F-Series Aerating Fountains provide excellent aeration while displaying an esthetically pleasing circular v-shaped design.
