All Solas hubs are rubber molded in an octagonal shape to absorb vibration and reduce slipping. Strict quality control standards are employed throughout the production, balancing and testing process to ensure that each prop performs at a top level.
It runs smooth, looks great. I ordered it in the morning and got it 2 days later. Thank you SavvyBoater. My boat with me by myself was hitting the rev limiter @ 21.5 MPH with factory 9 pitch prop. Now I can run 25 - 26 MPH with Solas SS 9 pitch prop. It still runs the same 20 MPH with two large adults in the boat due to my limited HP. If you're not hitting the rev limiter, go down 1-2 pitches in prop. The blades are slightly cupped.
